IA no audiovisual: Questões Legais e Éticas

Não há dúvida de que a internet popularizou o audiovisual. Mais recentemente, com a disponibilização de programas e modelos de inteligência artificial generativa, as possibilidades de trabalhar com imagens e áudio se avolumam. Paralelamente, questões como ética, autoria, direitos de imagem e voz das personalidades, exploração do trabalho de artistas para treinamento das plataformas e a fronteira entre real e ficcional, permanecem na ordem do dia. Neste primeiro dia de debates, estas e outras questões serão discutidas. A mediação é de Duda Leite, jornalista, curador e cineasta e com a participação de Paula Tupinambá, advogada especializada em direitos autorais, e Danielle Villanova, documentarista e diretora cultural da Escola do Absurdo.

AI in audiovisual: Legal and Ethical Issues

There is no doubt that the internet has popularized audiovisual media. More recently, with the availability of generative artificial intelligence programs and models, the possibilities of working with images and audio have increased. At the same time, issues such as ethics, authorship, image and voice rights of celebrities, exploitation of artists’ work for training platforms, and the boundary between reality and fiction remain on the agenda. On this first day of debates, these and other issues will be discussed. The mediation will be by Duda Leite, journalist, curator, and filmmaker, with the participation of Paula Tupinambá, lawyer specialized in copyright, and Danielle Villanova, documentary filmmaker and cultural director of Escola do Absurdo.
