Sinopse Português: Uma comunidade favelada prepara seu carnaval, cujo enredo é a saga de "Canudos". Um velho, antigo habitante do morro da Comunhão relata para as crianças a estória do desfile. O morro estava em festa preparando seu carnaval quando acontece um confronto entre os traficantes e a polícia e uma bala perdida incendeia o barracão da escola. Como em "Canudos" o sonho não se realiza, a Escola de Samba não desfila. A comunidade não se deixa abater, e Comunhão prepara um novo desfile; o tema agora contará sua própria estória.

Synopsis English: A shantytown community gears up for Carnaval with a theme about the saga of Canudos. An old mm, longtime resident of the community, tells the children about the story. The community is festive in its preparations for the Carnaval when there is a confrontation between the drug lords and the police, and a stray bullet sets fire to the floats and costumes. Just as in Canudos, the dream doesn't come true and the group can't parade with that theme. However, the community doesn't give in and prepares a new theme, this time, telling its own story.
